ZEEKR X 2025 Review

The mighty ZEEKR X 2025 has arrived on the scene, posing a formidable challenge to its electric vehicle counterparts. China’s automotive titan, ZEEKR, has thrown its hat in the ring with this five-seater SUV, promising both power and grandeur. Rivals beware; this one is loaded and ready for the electric road.

The Market Position

Sitting in the electric SUV category, the ZEEKR X doesn’t just stand; it charges among giants like the Tesla Model Y and the Volkswagen ID.4. With a compelling price tag of roughly $20,700 USD, $19,400 Euros, or £16,900 GBP, it's gunning for supremacy, especially with production rooted in China and expected market debut in 2025.

Jaw-Dropping Performance

Now hold onto your hats, because the ZEEKR X doesn’t just talk the talk. It’s a lightning bolt on wheels, rocketing from 0 to 100 km/h (or if you're measuring in miles, 0 to 62 mph) in a mere 3.7 seconds. The power hails from a dual-motor setup with a hefty output of 428 horsepower. Yes, you heard that right, 428 stallions beneath that hood!

What Lies Beneath the Hood?

Beneath the sleek exterior, this monster harbors a beastly 66 kWh battery pack. It promises a journey of 560 kilometers (for those who prefer miles, that's a staggering 348 miles) before needing a pit stop. Pack your bags, long journeys just got a whole lot easier!

Charging Onward in Style

Talking style? ZEEKR has you covered. Slip inside this automotive sanctum and brace yourself for a symphony of modern Chinese minimalism. It’s not just a cabin; it’s an art installation. With a dashboard that glides into view and a multimedia display you can almost call Jack-in-the-box, it incorporates a stunning 24.3-inch projection display, all with your name on it.

Gadgets Galore

Techies, rejoice! The ZEEKR X’s 'smart' electronics are anything but run-of-the-mill. Map out your path with its Zeekr AD system, echoing advanced driving needs with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a not-so-subtle microphone to keep you aware of cross traffic. It's practically KITT from Knight Rider, minus the attitude.

Seats That Make You Weak at the Knees

Enter the realm of 4D Cloud “zero gravity” seating. Offering ventilation, heating, and enough adjustability to make yoga envy its flexibility, these seats don't just support—they pamper. With an inclination for indulgence, you can kick back and savor the journey.

The Magic of the Center Console

The “magic center console” isn’t sleight of hand, it’s sheer artistry. It provides a 7-liter storage cavern, mate—it’s not just storage; it’s alchemy with an electric twist of 50W fast wireless charging for your gadgets.

Color Me Impressed

This beauty offers not only performance but an array of colorful spectacles from orange to purple and even silver. The wheels? Ranging from 19-inch default options with electric doors that whisper luxury.

Security in the Fast Lane

Safety is paramount. With forward collision warnings to automatic braking assists, the ZEEKR X is more a valiant knight in shining armor than a simple chariot. Using a symphony of cameras and radars, it renders the road a playground of possibilities.

Crowning the Electric Revolution

Is ZEEKR X poised to rule the electrified roads of 2025? With craftsmanship that marries performance and aesthetics, it's not just ready, it’s eager. Whether cruising at speeds of up to 185 km/h (or a breezy 115 mph), it masterfully mixes power with elegance, setting a new standard for electric SUVs.

News 11/08/2025 The Zeekr X is slated for an update between September and the fourth quarter of this year. This refresh will introduce a new variant featuring the battery from Geely’s Energee Battery and subtle adjustments to the interior design.

Price

Around $20,700 USD makes the ZEEKR X 2025 a wallet-friendly affair compared to the $47,000 USD price tag of the Tesla Model Y. The Volkswagen ID.4 caters to the masses at $43,000 USD, with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 priced around $44,000 USD, and the unabashed presence of the Ford Mustang Mach-E at $45,000 USD.
