Arctic Cat - We were born in the North, raised on snow and gravel, and we cut our teeth helping adventurers test their limits. And we still live in the great plains of Minnesota. Founded by Edgar Hettin in 1962, Arctic Cat has grown into a leading manufacturer of snowmobiles, bikers and ATVs through decades of cross-country riding, racing and bringing friends and families together. Our community is close-knit, passionate and proud. And we love being a part of it. In 2017, a new era in the history of Arctic Cat began when we joined Textron. Inc. a family of brands that includes Bell® helicopters, Cessna aircraft and more. Because of Textron's heritage of power, performance and precision engineering, the decision was made to change the off-road product brand from Arctic Cat to Textron Off Road. As Textron Off Road, we have released some of our most inspiring vehicles, including the highly anticipated Wildcat XX with its industry-leading suspension system. But as we listened to our dedicated riders, it became clear that their passion for the Arctic Cat brand had not faded. That's why we decided in 2019 that our SUVs should once again carry the Arctic Cat name. Today, most of our production takes place at our Thief River Falls, Minnesota facility, with backyard trails and mountains just a day's drive away. Our cars explore the world, but they all start with American workers and the American work ethic. This is another reason why we are proud to stand behind every machine we make.
